Hi! I’m Shauna. I got my first camera when I was 13. It was then that I developed a love for taking photos that tell a story (and still love it to this day). I would ask my siblings to model for me, take pictures of my friends whenever I could, and try out different conceptual self-portraits. It was then I first learned Photoshop and then later learned lightroom. Throughout high school, I was in the yearbook club and refined my documentary skills. Fast forward 14 years from the time I first picked up a camera, I’m living my dream doing photography full time.

Why hire me (or not)? I recently heard that when you hire a photographer, you aren’t really hiring them to capture your day as you see it. In fact, no one can really relive the memories that you lived exactly as you lived them. I’m going to capture your story as I see it. So, if you like what you see so far, you’re in a good place.
Photography is more than something on your to-do list, it truly is an investment. You will treasure these photographs forever. Have you ever thought back on a moment and thought ‘Man, I wish I had some really good photos of XX’? I know I have. And that’s the value of having a good photographer. Sure, nowadays almost anyone can take photos — but do you really want to trust just anyone to take your photos? I wouldn’t.
